Alrighty, here are some of my “6″ random things:

1.  When I was growing up I have always wanted to be an undercover detective (at times I still do).  I used to play an undercover police officer — with uniform, badges and I actually remembered all the “important” lines in cop shows to mimic.

2.  My favourite past time is singing.  I took a number of singing lessons from private to group…I’m not the greatest singer but I love doing karaoke (I have to admit). 

3.  I know pretty much all the tunes to Veggie tales.  My most enjoyable tune I have sung with my kids is their opening Veggie Tale tune.

4.  I love reading….I am now starting to read again (I am making time to read).  When I was young, I used to read those “educational” Harlequin novels..I would read at least 3 a day (not much reading, I usually skip all the “non important” words).  Once I finish one book I would (in my mind) think about my Harlequin story that I would write.

5.  I used to be fascinated with insects (except spiders).  You’ve heard of ant farms…well, I actually created out of empty glass jars cockroach farms!!! Yes, quite disgusting and true…let me tell you…those critters can multiply at super speed!

6.  drum roll…………..Last but not least, my pet peeve growing up are girls who are “girlie”.  I always went out of my way to make sure I was not like that….so I become the extreme on the other end…I became a “tomboy”.  I still don’t find interest in “nail parties”, lingerie parties, etc…and when I go shopping, I actually enjoy looking at cars, electronics and believe it or not groceries!
