Carrying cloth bags is an easy, principled thing we can all do.
In India, plastic bags are an even bigger environmental disaster, because so many people are in the habit of throwing their trash wherever they happen to be standing at the moment. So it’s pretty cool that a hot, young, Indian clothing designer has taken a fresh look at the cloth bag revolution by injecting high-fashion, ease-of-use, and distribution within the gift-economy.
The story of her project, called Small Steps, is utterly inspiring. Read about it here.

Way to go! It’s good to know that there are people out there with an environmental consciousness. I agree there are still many places where there needs to be more education towards helping people understand this importance.

The “3″ theme that you use on your blog is a neat idea and a great way to make quick and impactful posts! Inspired by your three little ones, I assume?
Refusing plastic bags is a great iadea too and an easy change for anyone to make.
I find that it’s a difficult task raising kids to have respect for their natural world and consider it in the choices they make in their daily lives.
Do you have a top three list for raising environmentally conscious kids?

It is good to take a cloth bag to buy things to avoid plastic waste.
We have been able to make some impact in the society for making their surroundings cleaner and hygienic and better aesthetics.
